The Other Guys

Unlike their heroic counterparts on the force, desk-bound NYPD detectives Gamble (Will Ferrell) and Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg) garner no headlines as they work day to day. Gamble relishes his job as a paper pusher, but Hoitz is itching to get back on the street and make a name for himself. When a seemingly minor case turns out to be a big deal, the two cops get the opportunity to finally prove to their comrades that they have the right stuff.

They may not be Jack Lemmon and Billy Wilder , but Will Ferrell and Adam McKay have a pretty good thing going. With little regard for anything but immediate laughter, the star and his favorite director strive for maximum silliness and reach it often enough to keep us coming back for more, first in Anchorman, Talladega Nights and Step Brothers, and now in the anarchic cop-buddy spoof The Other Guys. The Other Guys

Possibly the WORST movie of the 2010 movie season. A movie about one angry cop and one inept, goofy cop. FULL of profanity. It has cameos by Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson, and I can see why they were only in a few minutes in the beginning of this movie before their characters bit the dust. So bad, so lame, so vulgar that we got up and walked out after 20 excrutiating minutes. (Hey we gave the movie a chance, but a body can only take so much!) Don't lose your hard earned $$$ on this one!
