Sonia (Ksenia Rappoport) and ex-cop Guido (Filippo Timi) experience a whirlwind romance after a speed-dating event. While in the countryside, where Guido works at a villa, the couple are ambushed in the woods, and both their lives take drastic turns. As the two attempt to recover from the trauma, Sonia grows paranoid that Guido believes she was somehow involved in the attack herself. Guido begins investigating and unearths dark secrets about Sonia, which cause her sense of reality to crumble.
