Saturday School: Art of the Harlem Renaissance

Students explore the cultural explosion that defined the Harlem Renaissance, re-creating Romare Bearden's collages, Langston Hughes’ poetry, Billie Holiday’s soulful sounds and the works of other influential artists of the period. Led by Rachel Obranovich, an art instructor at the Ursuline Academy of Dallas. Open to students ages 6-12.
