SummerFest at the Gaylord Texan

The Grapevine resort is aiming for a Texas-size celebration with a variety of activities. The culinary spectrum includes cooking camps for little chefs-in-the-making, wine-and-cheese pairings and beer tastings for grownups, and all-ages dessert tastings and family dining specials. Other highlights, all free: fireworks, strolling entertainers (magicians, balloon artists, jugglers, face painters), and a train exhibit.
