Royal Comedy Tour

Sommore has been referred to as "The Diva of Contemporary Comedy". She has appeared on many shows, such as Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam, and BET's Live from L.A. She has also played roles on The Hughleys and The Parkers. In 1995, Sommore earned the Richard Pryor Award for Comic Of The Year for her stand-up act. She was also handpicked by Oprah Winfrey to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show. In 2000 she became part of a select few to be part of the successful Queens of Comedy tour.
