At Alberto Lombardi’s picture-perfect bistro, chef Yoanne Lardeux turns out mostly creditable versions of steak frites, duck confit and other French bistro classics. The kitchen, however, stumbles more frequently than it should. Don’t miss the frites. Full bar.

DELISH!
Great family restaurant. Amazing salads and love the fish. The owner is a close family friend. The outdoor patio is amazing for brunch during the summertime!!

Wonderful!
I heartily recommend the mussels in Thai sauce. The crispy little french fries are divine. And the grand marnier souffle is delicious (although quite large- good for sharing). The ambiance inside seems nice, but I've only sat outside on the porch which is wonderful when the weather is good. Almost like being in Paris!

Last time I was in Paris, my husband and I stopped for a drink on the terrace of a Left Bank cafe. We were the only would-be diners, but the tables and chairs were set so close together that we had to carefully pull out the chairs, wedge ourselves in, then slide our chairs precisely into the narrow slots allotted. It was most uncomfortable. My husband angled his chair out a bit so he didn’t feel quite as shoehorned in. (Full review)
From the typeface on the menu, to the well-mixed French 75 aperitif, to the frites served in a cone, Toulouse looks and feels like a sleek brasserie somewhere in France. (Full review)
