This is a bigger, louder, flashier version of the original Dodie’s just up Greenville Avenue. It’s bigger, yes, but oddly diminished, with an abbreviated menu. Some of the old Dodie’s standbys are still good here: the astringent coleslaw, the fine fried seafood and grilled oysters. But other dishes seem to have been lost in translation. Full bar.

We dropped by for lunch and were SHOCKED they did not offer soft shelled crap po-boys on this location's menu, so we canceled our drink order and drove down Greenville a few blocks to the original. We hope they keep that one open because their served food is the thing there rather than being just another Greenville Ave wanna be. Yum!
