*The Dallas Morning News has selected this location as one of the Top 100 Restaurants in D-FW.*
Opened Oct. 3, 2011.
The clubby bistro in Highland Park Village has a Europeanish feel. Eric Brandt’s cooking is careful, precise and not terribly adventuresome. Best dishes are steak tartare, mussels with chorizo picante and roasted cod with Pommery mustard sauce. House cocktails are outstanding. Reservations accepted only for parties of six or more. Full bar.

If you’re lucky, you won’t have to wait for a table at Bistro 31, the 2-month-old dining room set somewhere between the Chanel Boutique and Jimmy Choo in Highland Park Village.
As reservations are taken only for parties of six or more, you may well find yourself cooling your heels in the small entryway, which feels like the foyer of an art gallery on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. (Full review)
