This light, airy, casual Italian spot has a stylish Tuscan-farmhouse feel, excellent service and an appealing wine list. Wood-fired pizzas are reliably good, best preceded by a simple salad or bowl of homey Italian wedding soup; pastas are less than wonderful. Saltimbocca and cioppino (a Monday special) are two of the better main courses. Full bar.

If a restaurant makes you feel good, it’s a winner.
Princi Italia definitely makes people feel good — you can tell by scanning the well-heeled crowd it attracts every night of the week. Carefully coiffed women with perfect posture chatter between twirls of pasta; a dad in shorts arrives with two kids — they came for pizza, I’ll bet. They all look happy to be here. (Full review)
