Well, it's actually about five months old. A reader tipped us off that there's a new restaurant in the old Fuse space downtown. It's called Fuse Japan, and it opened in late January. General manager Drew Klingbeil, whose last gig was as a manager at Dish, describes the menu as Japanese fusion, but more traditional Japanese than Fuse was. (If you remember, Fuse fused Japanese and Texas cooking.) There's a full sushi menu, and a new sushi chef is about to come on board. It looks "pretty much the same inside," says Klingbeil. Kang Lee is the owner, says Klingbeil, who promises to hook us up with menus later today. I'll update the post then. No website yet; they're working on it.

I went to Fuse a couple of weeks ago. My guest enjoyed the Sushi while I had the shrimp. Everything was great especially the atmosphere.

Fuse Japan offers a great variety of food with an Asian twist. Even if you aren't a sushi lover, Fuse Japan has something for everyone. From their bacon wrapped shrimp, to their Korean tacos, to their Kobe burgers, everyone is guaranteed to find something they will love. Their atmosphere and presentation of food is like none other that I've seen. Fuse Japan will not disappoint.
