Great Steaks!
As you make your way north on the Tollway from Addison you can't help but see III Forks' gold dome...it's like a beacon that my car is powerless to resist.
May I suggest starting with a martini at the bar...you won't be disappointed. I'm a Filet girl and the fact that it's a Prime cut, like all of their steaks, has won my devotion.
III Forks is not just a special occasion restaurant...if you want a great meal and a great atmosphere, it's worth the price every time.

Market jitters and the country’s economic pain have sent the price of gold skyrocketing to a record high. So it’s all the more striking that beneath the glittering, 24-karat-gold-covered dome that tops a steak emporium just off the tollway, the dining rooms are positively bursting with folks eager to order up $17 shrimp cocktails, $49 steaks and triple-digit wines.
Anyone who’s lived in Dallas more than 10 minutes knows I’m talking about III Forks, the steak palace that Dale Wamstad opened in 1998 and sold to Consolidated Restaurant Operations in 2000. (Full review)
This ostentatious-looking palace next to the tollway in Far North Dallas was the sleeper hit. Not only were the prime steaks well-seasoned, nicely seared and attractively presented, but the service in the old-school white- tablecloth dining room was wonderfully snappy, engaged and super-professional.
