The Commissary, John Tesar’s new restaurant and burger bar in One Arts Plaza, has a lot going for it, starting with a great idea: Center dinner around a great burger and a glass of wine, throw in a cheffy appetizer or two, add dessert from a serious pastry chef, and you’ve got a measure of pizazz for not too much money. How cool to be able to taste the talents of one of the city’s most interesting and accomplished chefs — Tesar was executive chef at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek from 2006 to 2009 — without busting the bank.
