The sushi is fine but not stellar at this friendly Uptown neighborhood spot, a reincarnation of the original that was located a block north for 23 years. Best to keep it simple with tuna, yellowtail and shrimp sushi; some of the simpler rolls; and tempura. No alcohol (license pending); will have full bar once licensed.

Every sushi lover wants and needs a dependable neighborhood sushi bar. It needn't be the kind of place that flies fish in from Japan, but it should be the kind of place where you can satisfy that sushi jones without breaking the bank. (Full review)
