A raw foods cafe sandwiched into a tiny patch between some DART tracks and Greenville Avenue, Bliss does amazing things with uncooked plant foods. Highlights include Rawsagna Supreme, cucumber-based gazpacho, hemp horchata and Key lime pie. The eager staff is well-versed in the menu and ingredients. No alcohol.

As a counterpoint to the previous reviewer, I am writing about the finer points of Bliss and provide a different perspective. My experience was quite good and perhaps that's also due to the fact that I also had great company. It's true that the dishes can be somewhat pricey for small portions but the ingredients are usually local and organic. It also depends on what dishes you get. I had the rawsagna for my entree and it was about $15. The dish was actually quite plentiful, gorgeous, and completely satisfying. For my elixir drink, I had the Bliss 125 which is one of their chocolate drinks with medicinal mushrooms. We all shared the cinnamon rolls for dessert and they were completely guilt free - no processed sugars and no sugar crash afterward. I felt fantastic after the meal, really vibrant and full of energy. This is healthy delicious food that is meant to restore you and I think that's a rare find in Dallas. The elixir drinks actually remind me of The Daily Juice in Austin. So if you are open to places like that, then you'll enjoy Bliss.
I went to check out Bliss today with my teenage kids and was very disappointed.
The atomsphere was great, except it is very noisy right on Greenville Ave. All table seating is outdoors. It was breezy and nice today.
The food was VERY expensive for what you got. My son ordered the bliss burger and a chocolate "shake" , my daughter and I split the pizza so that we could try dessert later. The burger was good, but the pizza was literally the size of 4 saltines, we each got 2! In addition, it was $13!! When we oredered dessert, I neglected to ask the price...we split 2 desserts and they were $9.00 each! When we got the bill it was $54.94 before tip and for 3 people, 2 of which just split pizza! I couldn't believe it! I think it was way overpriced and the pizza should be called an appetizer! Also, at these lunch prices, I expect more help from the waitress. When we said we wanted to split, she should have let us know how small it really was!!

Who would have thought you could sandwich a cafe between the DART rail and Greenville Avenue in a space so tiny it used to be a snow-cone stand? It seems incredible that anything more ambitious could take root in this awkward little patch, let alone thrive. (Full review)
