Chef Cesar Gallegos has a firm command of technique and some good ideas, but there’s an element or two off in his dishes. The small interconnected dining rooms have an intimate feel, like a stylish harem. Smoking area on the patios off the restaurant and bar.

Rarely have I left a restaurant so perplexed as the two evenings I had dinner at Bolla.
The stylish dining room at the Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa has a great look; it's actually a series of intimate rooms that give onto each other, harem-style. Flowing, sheer gold curtains and tall-backed Champagne-colored banquettes on one side create softness, and whimsical modern chandeliers add sparkle. (Full review)
