This play is an interactive, staged choreopoem, that is cued up to a hip hop beat. Eisa Davis, the niece of Angela Davis weaves a delicate quilt of memories and moments that she and her famously political aunt share. This coming-of-age tale has a historical heartbeat that will both entertain and educate youth and adults alike about the revolutionary period of the 70s and the ever-evolving reality that we face now. A great addition to your Women's History Month plans!
