The Black Academy of Arts and Letters presents this Saturday festival with iconic actress and author Pam Grier. Screenings will include 'Coffy' (Grier’s first leading role) from noon to 2 p.m. in the Clarence Muse Cafe Theatre; 'Foxy Brown' from noon to 2 in Room T-314; 'Sheba, Baby' from 2 to 4 in the Muse; and 'Jackie Brown' from 2 to 4 in Room T-314. Following the screenings, Grier will discuss and sign her autobiography, 'Foxy: My Life in Three Acts.' There’ll also be an “up close and personal”
VIP reception at 7 p.m. at the Beat Lofts just south of downtown. Entertainment will be provided by the Xavier Jazz Combo.
