5th Annual Texas Black Film Festival

The fifth annual celebration of African-American cinema includes screenings and an awards show. Short films, a student workshop, a documentary and features are on the fest schedule for Friday and Saturday. Friday night’s feature is Age of the Dragons, starring Danny Glover. Elvis Mitchell, who’s a film critic as well as producer and co-creator of HBO film 'The Black List,' will present the 2011 festival awards on Saturday night.
