Tom Colicchio’s Dallas outpost in Victory Park’s W Hotel focuses on great seasonal ingredients, with simple yet brilliant dishes served family-style. Chef de cuisine Jeff Harris has serious talent, especially when it comes to fish and vegetables. His foie gras terrine is also a standout, and of course Colicchio’s renowned gnocchi and hen-of-the-woods mushrooms are winners, too. Full bar.

Our last visit was a major disappointment.Only one entree out of four impressed and that was the saddle of lamb.
Eating here is the most wonderful dining
experience in Dallas. The food, service, wine list and ambience of the decor are all top of the line!
To mention the foie gras terrine in yourn article just made me aware of my good taste. It is the best yet!
Having eaten there since it opened, we could see that the new chef has a real talent as we tasted some of the newer dishes you are now serving. Of course, the older ones are still great also.
Craft is brilliant. Don't ever leave!
More a comment than a review. Yes, the prices are high, enough so to give even the special occasion diner pause. But the food was superb, and the experience is a constant surprise.
Not only did our meal include three amuses, but the waiter also ran over on our way out to give us some free muffins (orange marmalade, yum). What a nice parting gift.
Most people can't afford to eat here everyday, but when you do muster the financial courage to do so, the food will surely impress.

Craft Dallas has a new chef, and he's turning out some of the most sophisticated cooking in town. And like Kevin Maxey, the chef de cuisine whom executive chef Tom Colicchio brought in to run Craft Dallas when it opened in 2006, 32-year-old Jeff Harris is a Texan. (Full review)
