My partner and I visited this Central 214 on a Sat night trying it out to decide if it would be awesome enough to have our commitment ceremony there. It was very good. We got to meet Chef Beck while we were eating our nice dinner. She was very outgoing and very entertaining. I think she is a great chef and she really cares what her customers think about her food and her staff. We then brought my immediate family the following night to show them what we had experienced. IT WAS VERY PLEASANT AND LOTS OF FUN..
The following monday I got a call from my stepmom stating she had seen chef Beck on tv and did I know she had a show. HAHAHA IT WAS VERY FUNNY... Needless to say they were mad they didn't get to meet Chef Beck last Sunday night.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT to ANY and EVERY one that loves to EAT..
THANKS CHEF BECK AND STAFF,
Stephanie Williams

I don't know if Blythe Beck is as naughty as her publicists say she is, but I do know this: The pink-jacketed, twinkly eyed chef knows how to fry. At the Hotel Palomar, where she rules the stoves at Central 214, Beck will chicken-fry anything that moves, and some things that don't. (Full review)
