Sweetheart Swing

Dinner, dancing and romancing are promised by the Dallas Wind Symphony at its fourth annual Sweetheart Swing. The symphony’s Swing Band will perform, along with singer-songwriter Sara Hickman. KRLD morning-show host Mitch Carr will be the master of ceremonies for the evening’s activities, which include a Spanish dinner from Milestone Culinary Arts Center and the Swingtini, the event’s signature cocktail. There will also be a silent auction. For those who’d like some dancing tips, a lesson will be offered at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the event benefit the symphony’s community outreach programs, including the Summer Music Institute and the Invitational Windband Festival.
