Billy Keen and Everett Spruce

Two exhibitions will be on view through July 11. "Becoming Human," by native Texan Billy Keen, is billed as a series of works that evolved from the artist’s contemplation of the transition from "the basic dependent state of childhood" to "attaining enlightenment as adults."
"Everett Spruce: American Modernist" features paintings and drawings by Spruce, who, along with other members of the original Dallas Nine artists, was an exponent of the regionalist movement in the 1930s.
