When fans aren’t filling Cowboys Stadium during football season, the building is used for all sorts of activities, including weddings, graduations, concerts, boxing matches and bull riding. Daily tours offer an insider’s look at the suites, party rooms, locker rooms and more. With so much to see inside the stadium and in the surrounding Arlington area, planning a day around a visit to Cowboys Stadium is an absolute must.
The first thing that strikes you about the 3 million square-foot stadium is its overwhelming size. Claiming the title of “world’s largest dome structure,” Cowboys Stadium opened in 2009 and is complete with 80,000 seats, a seven-story tall video screen (160 ft) and 18 kitchens. It's also the home of the Dallas Cowboys during football season, so make sure you grab some game tickets if you ever want to see the Boys playing on home turf.
The stadium offers four different tour packages during, including the Self-Guided Tour, VIP Tour, Art Tour and Educational Tour. Parking at Cowboys Stadium is free, and shuttle service is available. Self-Guided, VIP and Educational Tours are offered every Monday through Sunday as long as there are no schedule games, concerts or events. For a more in-depth list of tour availability and blackout dates, visit the Cowboys Stadium tickets site.
The stadium is big, so wear comfortable shoes. There is no restriction on cameras. The field is open, so bring the kiddos and let them run around! It's not every day you get to catch a football on the same field the Dallas Cowboys play on.
Admission to the stadium and the Pro Shop is free. Check below for tour pricing.
